Hi I'm Trisha

I'm a BYU graduate and seamstress. I love to sing and dance, & most of all I love being with my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Idaho as the youngest of 6 kids. We were a very musical family growing up. I played flute through high school and was in the marching band. Music has continued with me today, and I love to sing and play a little piano in my spare time. I graduated from BYU and now work as a professional seamstress and I love it! Some other things about me include a love for ballroom dancing, going on walks, and just spending time with people. I love to laugh and just be happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the Church with my family, so it's always been a part of who I am. Today I'd say I'm a Mormon because it gives me direction in life, especially at times when I don't seem to have any other direction. I have something to work towards, in serving others, growing, and becoming like my Father in Heaven. Even more so though, I'm a Mormon because it makes me happy. Through all of my struggles in life, this is the one thing that has kept me pushing through everything. This is a gospel of hope, and no matter what happens everything will turn out alright in the end. I have trust in my Savior that He will always be there for me, and I can count on Him. Without this gospel, I don't think I could ever be as happy as I am with it.

How I live my faith

One way I live my faith is through music. Music can have such a huge impact on people. With my current calling in the Church as a music director, I get to work with it a lot. I set up and organize music for meetings and I try my best to choose something that people may need to hear that day. Music, I believe, is one of the best forms of worship one can do. (Doctrine and Covenants 25:12). I also live my faith by trying to follow Christ's example. I reach out to those around me who may be having a rough day. If someone is struggling, I do what I can to help them, as I know the Savior would. Lastly, I live my faith by just trying to be true to what I know and believe, every day of the week.
