Hi I'm Sabrina Tamara

I'm Brazilian. I love books and one day I hope I can write my own. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm brazilian and gaúcha. I am the youngest of three siblings and also the only girl, that's the reason why I grew up liking stuff that a lot of people would call 'boy stuff'. I have a nerd nephew, a very talented and funny niece and one super cute baby nephew. I love them all very very much! Reading is my passion, I feel lost in a whole different world and at the same time I feel like I have found myself. Weird I know, right?! I also love movies and music. I love art, which includes: paintings, photography, design and many kinds of art. And just for the record, I am very critical too. One day I will have my own library at my house! I am serving as a missionary in Utah Salt Lake City Temple Square Mission. And I also served in Idaho Nampa Mission for three months and I loved it!

Why I am a Mormon

When I was born my parents were already members of the church. So at first it was easy to me, going to church every week, praying and reading the scriptures everyday was part of my life since I can remember. When I started attending seminary classes I started to understand a little better the importance of the gospel in my life, because it was my own decision to attend the classes. When I became older, probably around 15 years old, I remember reading the Book of Mormon and having the desire to know for myself if these things that I spend so much time doing and studying were really true. I remember receiving a confirmation, an amazing feeling of comfort and joy. I knew it was the Holy Ghost telling what I already knew, but needed a reminder. And this same feeling I have every time I study the scriptures and any other church materials, this same feeling I have when I hear our dear Prophet Thomas S. Monson speaking. I know this is the true gospel of Jesus Christ here on Earth and I know that anyone with a real desire to know it, can feel the same way I feel. That's why I am a mormon. I can't deny it, I know that Joseph Smith was able to restored the church of Christ back on the earth. And The Book of Mormon to be the word of God, that The book of Mormon testifies of the Bible and they go hand in hand teaching about Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I can't imagine starting my day without a prayer or going to bed without one. That's how I live my faith, it is on each day that I live and what I do to be closer to my Heavenly Father. The best way that I have found to live my faith now is to go on a mission, it is a privilege to be a representative of Christ and be his hands here on Earth. I am willing to give 18 months of my life to the Lord, I feel blessed for this wonderful opportunity that He has given me, to be able to bless other people's lives as well. But the end I am the one who feels the most blessed!
