Hi I'm Connie

I grew up in Southern California. I am a convert to the church. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, a mother of 4 children, and a grandmother of 5 grandchildren. My family is a huge part of my life because I enjoy spending time with them and sharing experiences. I love anything to do with nature and our Heavenly Father's creations. I love sunrises and sunsets, the ocean, animals, flowers and landscapes and anything to do with the outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I was 23 years old when I was baptized into the church. I have always believed in God and Jesus Christ and when I was taught the Gospel of Jesus Christ the Holy Ghost testified of it's truthfulness and I received an answer that I should be baptized. Many experiences throughout my life have strengthened my testimony that I have a loving Heavenly Father who watches over me and is involved in the details of my life. He has given me prophets and scriptures to teach me what He wants me to know and do to stay on the path that will lead me back to Him. I especially love the Book of Mormon because it testifies of the Savior, Jesus Christ, and within the pages lie all the answers to any questions I might have. It teaches me about the Savior, Jesus Christ, so I can pattern my life after his perfect example. It teaches me about charity, the pure love of Christ, patience, kindness, faith, and hope which are all things I should seek after. I am so very grateful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I try to be an example of Christ to my friends and neighbors. As my children were growing up I always tried to volunteer in their classrooms at school and sports teams. Currently, I am serving a mission for the church with my husband in Irvine California. Since I am a convert to the church this is a wonderful new experience for me especially to see the growth in the young men and women as they serve the Lord Jesus Christ.
