Hi I'm Andrew

I'm from the Northwest. I love music, I work in radio, I can whistle like an alien, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hey! My name's Andrew McUne (mih-kyuun), and I am currently serving an English-speaking mission in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I've lived in Oregon for most of my life, and before my mission, I spent two years at Oregon State University, working toward a bachelor's degree in liberal studies, optioning in new media and communications. I've been interning and working in and around radio stations since I was fourteen, including the station on college campus, where I announced campus news on air every Tuesday morning. I grew up around animals of all kinds, and I'm no stranger to farm chores, no matter what my parents would tell you. I am the oldest of four siblings, and we've all grown closer as we've grown older. We're something of a musical family, and before the sweet rigors of missionary service, I spent most waking moments listening to music; jazz, smooth rock, indie rock, chill-pop... my music tastes would often thrive on obscurity. I play the piano, and I sing often, too. However, above it all, I have to say that missionary service has provided some of the best feelings and the coolest experiences that I've ever had, due to the inherent joys in preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon is always a choice, no matter what. We all have our agency; our ability to make choices of our own free will.

How I live my faith

I'm serving a mission! There's probably no more active way to live my faith, that I could think of.
