Hi I'm Susanna

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter Day Saints.

About Me

I am a retired school teacher. I taught for some 38 years in high school and middle school teaching health and physical education. I grew up on a farm in Idaho. I have 9 younger brothers and sisters. I have a master’s degree in physical education from BYU. When I went to college I competed nationally on the athletic teams in volleyball, basketball, softball, and track.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon not only because I have grown up in the church but because I know the church is true. The teachings give me the best understanding of life and what our purpose is here on earth. I don’t have to wander around trying to find the purpose of life. It helps me understand my full potential and what I can become. The gospel of Jesus Christ gives me the greatest ability to grow and progress in this life. I like the fact that we have a living prophet to guide us in this time and age. We need the guidance today just as they did in the days of old. I like the idea that we are sons and daughters of God and we can become like Him as we learn to be our best. Nothing is held back for us if we are faithful.

How I live my faith

Each day I try to follow the example of the Savior, by being kind to others and thinking of them as my brother or sister. I try to be honest in all that I do. As I maintain high standards in dress and actions I come to feel the love of my Savior. I always try to be loyal to my family and friends. I like to have fun as I live day to day. Fun can be found in most things I do.
