Hi I'm Chaelyne

I love laughing and making others laugh. I play the violin and piano. I love classical music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have an associates degree, and hope to get a bachelors degree in the near future. I have a passion for photography. I've been playing the violin and piano for over 10 years and I am so grateful for music. I am the 3rd of 6 children. I LOVE my family more than anything in the world. We are constantly laughing, cracking jokes, and quoting a wide range of movie lines to each other.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been apart of the "Mormon" church my whole life. My parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, great-great-grandparents, great-great-great...well you get the point. I come from a very religious family. I've never doubted that this church was the true church. Although I've always known is true, there was a time I struggled with living up to the standards. Through the divine and infinite gift of the Atonement, I was able to repent of my mistakes and feel clean and happy again. That is when I really gained my testimony of God's love for us. I know without a doubt that God loves all of his children. There is nothing we could ever do to remove his love from us. There is always a way back. It might be painful and hard, but it is worth it. I love this gospel. I KNOW it is true. I am so grateful to know that God speaks to prophets today as he did of old. I am grateful for the Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ. That book is the most true and correct book of any other books. I have changed and become a happier person because of the truths that it holds. I am a Mormon because it makes me happy and it gives me hope and joy beyond measure. No matter how bad a day I may have, I know that my Father in Heaven loves me. His son Jesus Christ loves me. My problems seem smaller and insignificant when I remember their love.

How I live my faith

I try and live my faith by becoming more like Christ every day. Many days I fall short, but I do the best I can and try to do better the next day. I've had many opportunities to serve in various callings in my ward. I've been a ward chorister, a librarian, and various leadership positions. I love serving! I've undoubtedly found that I benefit more from giving service than the person to whom I'm serving. I know that when we are in the service of our fellow men, we are really serving God. I have the opportunity and privilege to serve a mission for my church. I will be serving in Mexico for 18 months. I am so excited. I love all people! I know we are all God's children and he loves all of us.
