Hi I'm Alex

I live in Rexburg, Idaho. I play the cello and piano and love the outdoors. I have been called to serve in Washington D.C.

About Me

I have been called to serve a mission in the Washington D.C. North mission. I'm attending college BYU-I as a Biotechnology Major. Some of my hobbies include Chainmailling, competitive cycling, cello, piano, and Capoeira. I have been playing my cello for 11 years. I have eight siblings and love to send time with them. One of my siblings is serving a mission for the LDS Church in South Carolina.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love Christ. My parents taught me to love God and Christ and the teachings of prophets. I love feeling the spirit and blessing others wit the priesthood of God. My mom has taught me to seek out truth and righteousness and I have. I know that the Lord God answers our prayers. He has called prophets on the earth today. The Book of Mormon holds truth and answers. I know that if we pray for answers after all we can do to find out for ourselves we will be told through the power of the Holy Ghost. I know that the lord lives and loves us. He knows our hearts and he knows what we are going through, but with that, he knows how to help us. Through the Atonement of Christ we can become clean. If we are doing all we can to be good, the lord will step in and help us with the rest (2 Nephi 25:23).

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sharing my talents as a singer and as a musician. I share the gospel with my smile and through service to others. I strive to follow Christ and follow church leaders. I honor my father and my mother and keep the Word of Wisdom. I participate in my classes and try to help others understand the teachings of Christ. I visit three families that go to my church building every month. I make sure that they are doing okay spiritually and temporally. My companion and I deliver to them a message that teaches about Jesus Christ and his commandments for us.
