Hi I'm Brig

I grew up in a small town (like really small). I love life and learning.

About Me

I really like doing stuff and learning. I'm way into music and playing instruments. As of right now I can decently play the piano, guitar, ukulele, bass guitar and trombone. I'm working on learning the Banjo and really, any instrument that I can get. I really like all sorts of music, because I really feel that music can tell somebodies story.Besides music, I really like making stuff with my hands. Recently I made a ukulele all from wood, just from my woodpile. I also like cooking (mostly because I also really like eating), photography, biking, and the outdoors. I feel that this world is a beautiful place, and that you just have to look for that beauty, wherever you are. I'm working on college, but since I have a mission starting Jan. 15 2013, I wont be doing any of that for two years. I'm not going to lie, I'm kind of a big nerd about science and math, and so I hope to go into biomedical engineering, specifically neuroengineering. Pretty much, I will be helping people who lost parts of their bodies or are paralyzed to be able to fully function again, making prosthetics and all. The one thing that I have always wanted to do but never have, is flying a hang glider or parasail, or ultralight aircraft. Hopefully one day I will be able to do this and hey, that would be a good day.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is an incredible church. Not only that, but its the true church. I haven't always had faith in this church, even though it was the one I grew up in. Especially in High School, I had some serious doubting about the church, and Jesus, and the restoration. But luckily, with the influence of good friends and family, I stuck with it and committed to learn for myself whether it is true or not. It was kind of hard because it seemed like it took a really long time to get any answers. But since then, I have had some amazing experiences that confirm for me, that I am in the right church, and that this gospel is amazing. I don't understand everything, and I don't have all the answers, but I do know what I have felt, and what I have come to understand, and that is that God is there, that he wants us to return to him after this life, and that all of us can return.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to act more like Christ. That is, to understand people, not be a judge of anyone, and being kind to everyone I can. Sometimes its hard, but, its something I keep pushing for and working on.
