Hi I'm Mitch Featherstone

I'm a gym rat. I love to wrestle. I'm from Pleasant Grove Utah, I'm serving in the Spokane Washington Mission and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I wrestled and played football in High School. I love sports and exercising. I'm serving a mission in Spokane, Washington. When I return home I plan on pursuing my education and becoming a personal trainer and a physical therapist, wrestle in college, and marry in the temple.

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to be apart of the LDS church when I was 8. I've known this religion is the only true church from the very start. I didn't need to branch out into other religions to see if it was true. I've had a testimony of the gospel since I was a little boy. I've had countless experiences confirming my beliefs. I have been blessed in so many ways because of my willingness to be apart of this gospel and to serve The Lord. Even my trials are another confirmation of how true this gospel is. I know that every day everyone is faced with adversity. With The Lord's help we are able to push through any trial and to be strengthened and to become more like Jesus Christ. We are given trials not to break us down and to be miserable, but to learn from them and to become stronger and wiser. Heavenly Father has sent us here on this earth to grow and develop into the people he wants us to become. With out our Father in Heaven, we are lost and with out help. We need to make sure that we always keep in mind that he is watching and helping us every single day. He blesses the lives of his children not just for our benefit, but because he loves us beyond anyone can comprehend. Because his love is eternal, he has provided a way for us to return to him. He sacrificed his only begotten son for our eternal salvation. Because of Jesus Christ we are able to repent of our sins and to become like our Heavenly Father one day. Because of gods great love for us, that is where my testimony is built and why I am so blessed in my life. The least I can do is to serve him every day and try spread the gospel to his children.

How I live my faith

I study the Book of Mormon daily and do my best to apply the Gospel of Jesus Christ every day. I do all I can to be worthy servant of God. Because of God, I have what I have today, I have so many talents, I have so many blessings and I owe it all to him. The least I can do is serve Him and spread His gospel. His commandments are meant to keep us happy and by living them we are able to one day with our Father in Heaven again.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Mitch Featherstone
As missionaries our purpose is to invite others to come unto Christ. We like to get to know the people we go into their homes a little bit, and we teach what we know to be true according to what the spirit tells us to teach. We rely on the Holy Ghost to help us not only get to know you on a more spiritual level, but as well as on what doctrine we should teach. We aren't perfect teachers or individuals. But we have been called by a Prophet of God to share what we know, and we know our message is true. Show more Show less
