Hi I'm Danielle

I grew up in Bear Lake Utah. I love the outdoors. I've been called to serve a mission in Oakland California. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi I'm Danielle! I have been called to serve a mission in California! I grew up in Bear Lake. It was a perfect place cause my family loves being outdoors. As a family we spend LOTS of time working and playing outside. My parents own a landscaping business and us kids grew up helping. I also enjoy playing sports, especially volleyball and basketball. I played on my high school's teams. Another thing I really enjoy is being around people. I love to talk to them, learn about them, and helping them. That is one reason why I'm super excited to serve a mission, because I know that this gospel can bring light and happiness into people's lives. My family is the perfectly imperfect, I love them! I grew up with three brothers and we just adopted a little girl a couple months ago.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, just because I was born into it I had to be converted myself. It wasn't a big huge light bulb moment but slowly and with effort on my part I have come to know that this is the true church. I know this is the true church because I can feel my Heavenly Father's and my Savior's love for me every time I follow the commandments. The church has blessed my life in so many ways. I would not be the person I am today with out it.

How I live my faith

I serve in the primary currently. I'm am the back up if a teacher is gone I fill in for them. It is so fun to be with the little kids and see them grow spiritually. One of my favorite times was when I was teaching a lesson about how we are thankful for food and clothing, to the 4 and 5 year olds. I asked the kids a question, "where does your food come from?" They thought for a moment, then they answered, "My mom!" The conversation continued, "where does your mom get the food?" They thought a little harder. "The store!" "Where does the store get it?" They thought really hard, "we don't know." I then explained that they come from plants and animals. It was so cute to see them thinking and learning. I love the primary and their sweet spirits!
