Hi I'm Emily Doud

I am a swimmer. I love music. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of six kids. I sing, play the piano, and write music. I am a swimmer and have swam competitively since I was 10. I love everything about service and have traveled to Fiji and Tonga for humanitarian work. I am CERT certified and pursuing my career in emergency response.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. However, at one point, I decided to stop living off of my parents' testimonies and develop my own. I have read The Book of Mormon and prayed to know of its truth. I have received confirmation that this church is true. I live the standards I have been taught and I am happy. This gospel is the gospel of happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the standards set in The Strength of Youth (a booklet distributed through the LDS church). I do not partake of substances that are harmful to my body. I reach out to others by finding ways to serve in my home and community. I follow the teaching of our prophet, Thomas S. Monson.
