Hi I'm Beth

I'm a bg sister, I'm a little sister, I'm a missionary serving in the Alpine German Speaking Mission, and I'M A MORMON!!

About Me

I am the middle child in the most INCREDIBLE family EVER! My parents are the best examples I could have ever wished for. I will forever be grateful for the unfailing and unconditional love that they have for me. My Dad, despite our differences, is always someone who I know will be on my side, and be there to back me up. My Mummy, is my very BEST friend. Despite being 19, she still takes care of me like I'm 9, and I wouldn't have it any other way. My big sister means the entire world to me. She moved to America a few years ago to start her happily ever after with the best Brother-in-law I could have ever hoped for. Even from thousands of miles away, she still manages to be my hero, and she lives up to that title every single day. I have the cutest and craziest little sister ever, who I love beyond words. Who is before our eyes turning into a woman through whom Christ will perform many miracles. I finished high school last summer, and postponed further education until I had fully decided what it was I wanted to do with my life. While I was doing a customer service apprenticeship, President Thomas S Monson announced the lowering of mission age. It took several months of prayer and fasting, but while trying to find out what it was that I WANTED to do with my life, I found what it was the lord NEEDED me to do. So on February 20th 2014, I began the best 18 months of my life, serving as a full time missionary for the Lord and his church, in the ALPINE GERMAN-SPEAKING MISSION.

Why I am a Mormon

The reason why I am a Mormon is simple, it's because i know that this is the true church. I'm sure that most people would say that because I was born and raised in the church, I am a Mormon because my parents are. I guess to an extent this is true. Their testimonies were what held me in the gospel for many years, and i guess you could say I was 'living off of borrowed light.' The time came in my life as I know it does in each of ours, to find out for myself whether or not the gospel is true. The reason I am a Mormon, is because one night I knelt down by the side of my bed, and pleaded with my Heavenly Father to know if this is the only true church, and if Christ really does stand at the head of it. The reason why I am a Mormon, is because Heavenly Father answers prayers, and he answered my prayer. I have been greatly blessed with the knowledge that this is Christ's true, and only church upon the Earth today, that he stands at the head of it, and leads his people through modern day prophets.

How I live my faith

I live my faith on a daily basis, by beginning and ending each day with a prayer, and reading my scriptures. I then try to squeeze as much as I can between my morning and evening prayers. I try to live my faith and be the best example to the outside world as I can. The world can be a dark place, lacking in morals and standards, but if I can kneel down at night, knowing I did not compromise myself or my values, knowing that I took the opportunity to help a stranger, or was there to give comfort to a friend, then that has been a successful day. I like to live my life in a way that people can tell it is my faith that makes me different, it is my faith that puts that smile on my face, and that spring in my step. Despite not being one to shout about religion from the rooftops, I will never hide who I am from people, and I love to share the gospel with those around me. I feel so blessed to be able to serve as a full time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. I will be able to be a representative for my Savior every day for the next 18 months. I am so happy to be able to so this, and will show my faith every day.
