Hi I'm Oli

I grew up in China and moved to Australia when I was 2. I love my family and my friends 3. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am very fond of sport and I love playing sport. I like to go outside and enjoy the sun. I currently go to high school in Adelaide. I love food and I sometimes don't mind a little bit of cooking. I like to hang out with my friends from church and I love going out and having activities with the all the youth in my stake.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it bring happiness and joy to me personally and to all my family members. I love going to church and learning about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the wonder plan that Heveanly Father has for all of us as his children. I I was converted when my mum and I were living in Sydney. One day my mum missed her train to come home and so the missionaries approached her at the train station. She eventually got baptized but I wasn't old enough at the time. We then moved to and we couldn't find the church anywhere. So after a year or two my mum became friends with a member and they started talking and she invited us to church. The church she invited us to was the same church my mum joined when she and I were in Sydney. I turned 8 a year after and I got baptized. Now I have a testimony that I know that the gospel is true. Somehow all the events of my mums conversion didn't just happen by chance but it happened because Heveanly Father planned for it to happen. I love the gospel, my family and my friends and the wonderful support that they provide me with.

How I live my faith

I go to a ward in Adelaide. I am still a youth and I love going home teaching and catching up with all the members in my ward.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Oli
We can become closer to our Heveanly Father by talking to him directly by the power of prayer and by studying the scriptures with pure intent. Show more Show less
