Hi I'm Ashlee

I love my family, tacos, the NC State Fair, Pie Day, scrapbooking, and being a Mormon!

About Me

I am a school psychologist in central North Carolina. While I was born and raised in Utah, I chose to come to graduate school in NC. Once I got here, it became apparent that I was a Southern Belle at heart and I have learned to love living in the south. In my free time I enjoy scrapbooking, reading, cooking, eating really good food, and being with those I love.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I don't know how to be anything else. I'm a Mormon because being such teaches me to be like Christ. He commanded his disciples to "be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father, which is in heaven, is perfect." Through Christ's atonement I have the opportunity to learn, to grow, to serve, and to eventually, return to my Father's open arms. It is only through my participation in the principles and ordinances of this Gospel that I have learned that "His grace is sufficient".

How I live my faith

I have had a variety of different callings (jobs) in my wards and stake. I have taught lessons, organized conferences for single adults, helped the poor, led choirs, played organ, assisted in temple ordinances, directed a musical, and now I work with the young women! No matter the calling I've had, I've learned to love those I serve and have made some great friends and discovered greater truths along the way.
