Hi I'm Kevin

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband, father of four and a grandfather of 7 -- with another on the way. My family means the world to me. Spending time with my grandchildren is a great joy in my life. I have a bachelors degree in Business Management and an MBA from the University of Southern California. For the last 29 years I have worked in the aerospace industry.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church, but as a teenager I felt compelled to find out for myself if the things I had been taught were true. I read the Book of Mormon, prayed, and lived the Church's teachings as best I could. My heart changed; I felt a peace and joy in my life I had never known before. More than forty years have passed since those teenage experiences, but the feelings have never departed. I read the scriptures daily, pray regularly, and continue to live the Church's teachings as best I can. My life is joyful. It has purpose. My desire is that other may know as I know of the joy of gospel living.

How I live my faith

On Sundays I teach a Sunday school class of 17 year-olds. They are absolutely amazing. These youth are brighter, harder working, and understand much more than I did at their age. Their excellent behavior and participation in class is particularly impressive. Each month I visit the homes of three families. My responsibility is to ensure they are watched over, ensuring their needs are met. For example, a widow I visit needs assistance on occasion mowing her back yard. Members of the congregation perform that service on a rotating assignment basis.
