Hi I'm Taylor

I love my big family. I'm a triplet. I clean fish. I love sports. I love the gospel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in Utah my whole life. I have grown up with the gospel. I live it, I learn it, I love it. I have nine people in my family! We love each other so much. I love to go on vacation, and spend time with all of them! Knowing about the Plan of Salvation is such a blessing to know that we have the chance to spend eternity together! I am a fraternal triplet so I have been blessed to grow up with and always spend time with two of my sisters! We are best friends! I will be reporting to the Provo MTC on April 2,2014 to serve in the Santa Rosa California Mission! I am very excited but one of the biggest sacrifices I will be making will be leaving my family. While I am gone there will be so many events I will be missing out on, but I know that every missionary has their own sacrifices they have to make, and I also know that with these sacrifices and obedience comes many blessings. We are never alone. God is very aware of our lives. He is aware of our losses, pains, and struggles. Our Savior has suffered them all, for each and every one of us. This is what drives me to become the best prepared missionary I can be for my mission. I wasn't always planning on serving a mission, but during this past year I have had the blessing of preparing and receiving my patriarchal blessing. It very directly instructed me that I will be blessed to be called on a mission while I am young, and in return my skills will be strengthened and my family will be blessed.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I can't imagine my life without it. To try and imagine growing up not knowing what I have been blessed to know almost scares me. I would be so lost not knowing about the Atonement, the Plan of Salvation, The Word of Wisdom, The Book of Mormon, and more. When I think of all the events in my life leading up to now; the good, the bad, the sad, the happy, the exciting, and the best I notice that the gospel has shared a part in each of them. All the good, happy, exciting times come when I am following the commandments of God that have been given to us in the scriptures. As I a live clean, worthy life staying obedient to the commandments, and following word of wisdom by not participating in drugs or consumption of caffeinated beverages I find myself always feeling happier, satisfied, and full of energy. When the bad times do come in my life, it is the gospel that helps me to get through them. This gospel lets me know that if God puts you through something, he will help you through it! I know that there is no pain or suffering that we each have gone through that our savior has not already suffered. I know that through the Atonement of Christ we have the opportunity to repent of any sins we have through a process of repentance to become fully clean again, giving ourselves the opportunity to be worthy to return to our Father in Heaven again. I know that we each have the blessing of communication with our Father in Heaven through prayer. He loves to hear from each of us. He loves us. We are each His children. He wants each and every one of us to return back with Him. I know that prophets are called by God to guide and direct us here on the Earth through revelation with Him. I know that with each sacrifice given to follow the gospel and living a righteous life brings blessings to you and your family. I know that this is the true church. I know it to be true as I read the scriptures, listen to the prophet today; Thomas S. Monsen, and pray.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my young single adult ward every Sunday. I do my best to participate in each lesson, and learn and apply what I learn into my life each week. I try to be an example of our savior in the way I treat others. I enjoy going to the Family Home Evening activities and Stake activities, they are very fun and help you to feel the spirit while also enjoying the company of the other young single adults! I participate in visiting teachings by visiting the members houses and sharing the gospel, treats, and things that have been going on in our lives!
