Hi I'm PRECIOUS

I AM A MORMON. I AM FROM NIGERIA. I LIKE GIVING HELP AND MAKING FRIENDS.

About Me

I AM A COVERSATIONAL, FRIENDLY AND FULL OF HUMOUR. I LOVE TO SING, DANCE AND PLAY THE KEYBOARD.I DANCE BALLET AND SING IN BRANCH AND DISTRICT CHOIR. I ATTEND INSTITUTE CLASSES EVERY TUESDAY. I TAUGHT IN SEMINARY FOR 2 YEARS UNTIL I WAS CALLED TO SERVE A MISSION IN COTE D'IVOIRE, ADBIJAN MISSION. I ATTENDED SEMINARY FROM THE AGE OF 12 TO 18 BECAUSE I LOVE SEMINARY CLASS. LATER WE MOVED TO ANOTHER TOWN WHERE THE CHURCH WAS A DISTRICT AND BRANCH. IT DIDN'T GO WELL WITH ME AS I WAS ALWAYS BROODING ABOUT HOW THE MEMBERS IN THIS TOWN WHERE SINGING THE HYMNS AND CONDUCTING SACRAMENT MEETINGS... IT SEEMED OUR PREVIOUS WARD WAS SO PERFECT IN IT'S ORGANIZATION... AND I WAS IN THE CHOIR BUT THIS BRANCH HAD NO CHOIR! I WAS SO FUSTRATED UNTIL I STARTED ASSOCIATING WITH FELLOW YOUTHS AND THEN I STARTED SEEING SO MANY GOOD THINGS IN THEM. LIKE THEY HELPED ME TO MAINTAIN MY STANDARDS, I FELT NORMAL WITH THEM BECAUSE THEY WERE JUST LIKE ME... MODEST, HONEST AND STRONG IN THEIR TESTIMONIES. I TALKED TO THEM AND WE STARTED A YOUTH CHOIR IN THE BRANCH THAT SANG EVERY SUNDAY. I ATTEND THE TEMPLE WHEN EVER I GET THE CHANCE AND IT IS ALWAYS THRILLING!

Why I am a Mormon

I WAS BORN INTO THE CHURCH. IN PRIMARY WE LEARNT SO MANY SONGS THAT HAS GUILDED MY LIFE TILL PRESENT. IN THE YOUTH CLASS, I GOT THE STRENGHT FOR THE YOUTH WHICH IS A GUILDLINE FOR YOUTHS... MY PERSONAL PROGRESS SHAPED MY LIFE INTO HAVING FAITH AND INDIVIDUAL WORTH AMONGST OTHERS. AS I GREW IN THE CHURCH AND MY TESTIMONY GREW... I KNEW WHY I SHOULD ATTEND CHURCH BECAUSE I WANT TO NOT BECAUSE MY PARENTS WANTS ME TO. THE LORD HAS CALLED PROPHETS IN THIS LATTER DAY TO DIRECT US. THE BOOK OF MORMON IS THE MOST PRECIOUS BOOK TO ME... THE DOCTRINES AND PRECEPTS THEREIN BLESSES LIFE ONLY IF WE HEED TO IT... I KNOW IT! THE TEMPLE, WHENEVER I'M IN IT, FEELS LIKE HEAVEN. THE TRANQUILITY AND PEACE FOUND THERE SWEEPS ME OFF MY FEET. I'M CONTED TO KNOW THAT MY ANCESTORS ARE GIVEN THE CHANCE TO BE SAVED BECAUSE OF THE TEMPLE AND THAT I WILL BE A GODDESS AFTER LIFE HERE ON EARTH IF I MARRY IN THE TEMPLE.

How I live my faith

I TEACH IN THE CHILDREN CLASS... TEACH THEM SONGS AND GOSPEL LESSONS. I TAUGHT SEMINARY TOO. I AM THE BRANCH MUSIC DIRECTOR.... LIKE TEACH, INTERPRET AND SING IN THE CHOIR AND ALSO CONDUCT THE HYMNS IN THE CONGREGATION. I AM THE SECRETARY IN OUR DISTRICT STUDENT COUNCIL... I LOVE ATTENDING SACRAMENT MEETING MOST ESPECIALLY ON THE FIRST SUNDAY OF EVERY MONTH WHEN WE BEAR OUR TESTIMONIES. I DON'T MISS BEARING MY TESTIMONIES!

What do Mormons believe happens to us after we die? What do Mormons believe about life after death?

PRECIOUS
DEATH IS A PROGRESSION... AND NOT THE END OF LIFE AS PEOPLE THINK. IT IS THE END OF THIS MORTAL LIFE BUT THE BEGINNING OF THE POST-MORTAL LIFE. AFTER WE DIE, OUR SPIRIT LEAVES OUR BODY AND ENTERS THE SPIRIT WORLD WHERE WE will either go to the spirit paradise or to the spirit prison according to how we lived our lives here on earth. To the spirit paradise if we lived a good life and to the spirit prison if we lived a bad life. This is known as partial judgement. After the rapture when there shall be judgement, we either go the celestial, terestial or telestial kingdom. Celestial kingdom is a place where people who are married and sealed in the temple and who did all that is required of them in this life stay. In this place, they become gods and goddesses and are united with their family if they also did what is right. Show more Show less
