Hi I'm Ella.

I am a filipina who loves crafts and music. I'm a daughter, a sister, and a friend and I am a Mormon. :)

About Me

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I grew up with the church close beside me. During these years, I've never felt alone and insignificant. With this, I've come to know myself: Who I am, what is my purpose in this life, and who I will be. I have met great and influential people who contributed much to my whole being as a person. I am born with great parents who never got tired of teaching us with correct principles. They're my mentor, my critics, my inspiration, and my bestfriends. We laugh together till our tummy aches and we cry together too. I love them very much. I have 4 great siblings who stand as my protector and my confidant. I know that families can be together forever. I am a music lover. I first encountered music through the piano when I was 10 years old and eventually learned to love it. This became an instrument wherein I was able to serve my Heavenly Father. I am a choir member too and am a great fan of the Tabernacle Choir. :) Life here on earth is never easy. We experience sadness so that we can appreciate happiness. We fall. We learn. And life goes on. We must learn from our mistakes and take action to straighten things up. Each event has its own purpose and reason. Nothing happens accidentally. Just trust in Heavenly Father 'cause He knows you and loves you. Never give up! I am a princess not because I have a prince but because I am a daughter of a Heavenly King. Know that you are of great worth.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up with the church by my side. As a child, I had a borrowed testimony of the church. But somewhere in my early teens, I've come to ask myself, "Is this really the true church of God?" That was when I searched the scriptures, prayed constantly to my Heavenly Father asking for guidance, and involving myself to church programs and activities. It is where I felt that the Chruch of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. I felt it in my heart and had this great feeling of true happiness. The teachings and the gospel of Jesus Christ are taught through the scriptures, our prophets, through our leaders, and other church materials. This is where I've come to know myself better. These things strengthens me each day and continues to inspire me to become better than yesterday. No one is perfect. But if Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ see us doing our very best in following their ways, He will bless and guide us. As what He'd said, "keep my commandments and I will bless thee." He is true to His promises. If we do our part, we will then be worthy of the blessings we receive each day. Oftentimes, I feel down and not important. When these moments come, I remember looking up in the sky and seeing those tiny little stars. As I wonder with this great creation of our Heavenly Father, I feel significant and that I am deeply loved by my Father in Heaven. Tiny as I am compared to the other people around me, I know that He knows me... every bit of me. He knows my heartaches and my triumphs, my happiness and what causes my sadness. I know that I am a child of God and that He loves me. If it is already too hard for you to stand, then kneel. Ask for His guidance and He will direct you to the path of everlasting happiness. Never give up! It will all be worth it.

How I live my faith

As I live each day, trying my very best to follow Jesus Christ, I've come to value each moment in my life. I feel fulfilled everytime I share a part of me to my fellow brothers and sisters. In church, I teach children ages 4-11 years old. Yeah, those were tough times! You know, dealing with them is kinda challenging but it is all worth it. I've come to know and value teaching because in teaching, it is where we learn. It is a great honor for me to be their teacher, someone who teaches them the basic principles in life and making them feel that they are of great worth and that they are deeply loved by our Heavenly Father. I also feel special whenever I am with them. I am not just a teacher but also their friend. Getting to know them one by one is a plus factor for teaching. They'll listen to you if they feel that you care for them. When I was about their age, I felt special too! No matter how noisy we were, my teachers still taught us and loved us as if we are their children. I then said to myself way back then, "Soon, I'll be just like my teacher!" Then, here I am now, a teacher. If it were not because of my teachers, I will not be who I am today. I am truly blessed to have them as part of my life. :)
