Hi I'm Riley

I'm from Arizona. I play ball. I am an explorer at heart, I follow my feet. I love my friends and family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of four. I have an amazing sister and two stud little brothers who I look up to very much. Growing up in Arizona I have become a die hard AZ sports fan. Cardinals, Diamondbacks and Suns!! I love competition in all its forms. I have always loved playing sports and am always ready to ball. I always got gym shorts under my jeans!!! I also love the outdoors. I admire all of God's creations and am thankful for it all. I am serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Mexico, Monterrey East mission. I. Love. It.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a convert. But. Not really. I was born and raised in the church. Baptized at 8. I lived in a populated LDS community, and I attended church each and every Sunday. You can only go off of your parents testimony for so long. You can only just go "cuz thats what you do" for so long. There comes a time in all of our lives when we must choose for ourselves and become actually converted. Unfortunately for me, it took some pretty heavy mistakes and hard times to realize what truly mattered. The party and worldly lifestyle I was living was nothing but moments of temporary pleasure, toppled by pain and sorrow that grew harder and harder to deal with each day. I felt the happiness and desire to do good leaving me more and more each day. I felt dark. I needed help. Thankfully I didnt have to look very far. Because of the amazing true love and support of my family, I was reminded of what truly mattered. I was reminded of all I had been taught growing up in this gospel. I needed to make a choice. My choice was to take advantage of the Atonement of Jesus Christ and get my life in order. He suffered for my sins. I owe him my life! We are all converts. We all must come to know Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because through this gospel we can all be truly happy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be an example. An example for my little brothers by serving my mission and working hard to get here. An example of Christ-like love. I strive to be a friend to all. I have been a primary teacher for the last year before I left on my mission and I was never happier at Church. The light of Christ is within little children and they bring it out of us!
