Hi I'm Danielle

I drive a motorcycle. I love spoken word. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a junior in college studying English and Anthropology. I love to read and write. I ride a motorcycle and I LOVE it; I can also drive a manual which is so much more fun than an automatic. I love the Pacific Northwest and usually any kind of music. I love singing, especially in the shower. I think it would be really fun to pick up glass-blowing. I prank my roommates and hide their things daily. I have five nieces ranging from less than two months to sixteen years old and I love them a lot. I have four older siblings who don't know how much I look up to and care about.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I choose to be. It has not always been the case that I have chosen to read my scriptures, pray, and follow the other guidelines that have led me to a happy life. It was through experience and learning difficult life lessons that I came to realize the gospel is the most important thing in my life, including my testimony, the Book of Mormon, and the leaders of the church. I am Mormon because I know the gospel is true. I am Mormon because I want people who I love to know what I know. I am Mormon because I want my future children to know what I know, and my grandchildren to know what I know. I am Mormon and I love it.

How I live my faith

I love hanging out with the people I go to church with. They are some of my closest friends and biggest examples in my life. We like to serve each other and others around us. I love attending church every Sunday and hearing the testimonies of my peers, as well as sharing my own. I read my scriptures as often as every day and try to apply what I read to my personal life just as often. I pray every day to my Father in Heaven because I know He is listening and I know that it matters to me, as well as to Him, that I do so. I look forward to other opportunities in my life to serve others, to learn more about the gospel and deepen my testimony, and to share the gospel with others looking for truth.
