Hi I'm Xavier

I have lived my entire life in Florida. I play a ton of sports. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I absolutely love sports, no matter what sport it is that i play i will learn how to play and I play it. An interest of mine is history, it is so fascinating! I love learning about any type of history, just knowing the great things that people have done through the years is amazing. I'm the older middle child in a family with 6 children, 3 boys and 3 girls, and it is quite a trip. I also like to sing, its something i've done since i was little, recently i was able to be the lead at my highschool in the musical Footloose. I have been called to serve a mission in Sao Paulo Brazil, and i can't wait! it will be one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. When i'm older i want to be an entrepreneur like my father and go into the family business.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, through conversion, like every other Mormon at one point in their life. My stepfather, whom i call my father because he has more that earned that title, is why I am a Mormon today. When my mother married him her and I (i was 5) went to his church, The church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, better known as the Mormon church. Ever since then i have lived in the gospel, but there is a time in every Mormons life when they wonder why they are a Mormon, why they go to church, and i wondered those same things a few years ago. So to gain my answer I prayed, read scriptures, and looked to my father, for some type of inspiration to KNOW that this church was true. Finally after a few weeks, I didn't have some type of huge revelation, neither did i hear the holy ghost tell me it was true. Instead, through my studies and my fathers example and help, and me seeing the blessings that has been given to my family, one morning i woke up, and I knew. I had no more doubts, i had no more curiosity on whether it is true or not, I woke up and i had this feeling in my chest, and I just knew that this church is true, and that it is God's one true church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being active in my ward, and i have recieved many blessing from it! I have been the president of all of my young mens groups and it has been a pleasure being called to that position and being able to help be in the organization process of activities that we had done. I am a home teacher with my father, we try to go once a month and go and visit families we have been asked to go see. As well as i go teaching with the missionaries in my area, and it has been a very spiritual experience. My current calling is as a Ward Missiona leader, basically meaning I help the missionaries in my area, and it has been a very big calling for me. It is very difficult at times, but the blessings I have recieved from it are tremendous.
