Hi I'm Natalia

I grew up in Southern California, my family and I love Disneyland, and all things Disney, and The Mariners. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I find joy in what seem to be simple things, such as a better way to make homemade soup, a handier way to get stains out of clothes, making toys for your kids with stuff in the house instead of buying new ones. I went to Cosmetology school a few years ago, but now I focus my time on being a mom and wife to my sweet little family.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I chose to be. I grew up in the church, my parents influence was my way for so long. When I was 21 I moved to Utah for 5 years. I was on my own, and as I continued to practice the things my parents taught me I realized why I was happy and content on being on my own. Growing up, there weren't many members of the church around that were my age. And the few that were there, weren't interested in maintaining similar standards. I found true happiness when I was making friends with my same standards, being surrounded by a lot more people of my faith, I realized that was where I wanted to be. I didn't want to find a different way, I was completely happy being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Everything I learned on my own, while being independent, made me a better person because of church. I have become a better wife and mother for it. I love my church very much, it's God's Church, Christ's Church, I feel their love every time I'm there.

How I live my faith

As Husband and Wife we attend the temple together as often as we can. By doing so it reminds us of the covenants we made at baptism, and with each other to our Heavenly Father when we we're married. I actively participate at our local Church meetinghouse by teaching the 6 year olds during Sunday School. I learn a lot from them during our lessons, as so many things in life when looked at by a child we see the pure innocence outlook on important things in life. I appreciate their humbleness, and they've taught me so much already.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Yes! I was sealed for time and eternity to my husband in the Los Angeles Temple. Because we were sealed by the right authority we can live together forever. "Family relationships can last forever—not just for this life. Just as some of life’s sweetest joys can come through family associations, the loss of a beloved family member can be a source of our deepest sorrows. Jesus Christ gave power to His disciples to seal families together forever when He said, “And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven” (Matthew 16:19). Death does not need to be the end of our relationships with cherished loved ones. The Lord revealed to Joseph Smith that the “same sociality which exists among us here will exist among us there [in eternity], only it will be coupled with eternal glory” (Doctrine and Covenants 130:2). Family members who accept the Atonement of Jesus Christ and follow His example can be together forever through sacred ordinances performed in God’s holy temples. These ordinances seal a husband and wife together for all eternity and children to their parents as an eternal family. (See: “The Family: A Proclamation to the World”)" Show more Show less
