Hi I'm Hailey

I am the daughter of an onion farmer. I was a collegiate golfer. Im a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Idaho, worked on the farm all growing up weeding fields and what not. it wasnt my favorite thing in the least but i learned i didnt want to do that my whole life. granted i think my dad wishes one of his kids had an interest in taking over...sorry dad! Anyway i graduated high school and went to washington with a scholorship to play golf for a community college. i loved it so much but i needed to be around people who shared the same values as me so packed up after 1 year and headed to utah. i am currently going to school Utah. My plan is to major in Elementary education. i would really like to teach kindergarden someday! I just received my mission call in august to Guatemala! Spanish speaking and i am so excited to meet the people of Guatemala and teach them about the gospel

Why I am a Mormon

i have always been a member. well since i decided to be baptised at the age of 8. i really dont remember all that much about my baptism but i do remember just loving that all my family was there and i felt so supported in my decision. i have never regreted my decision to be baptised. even when i lived on my own i still attended church because i knew in my heart it was true. ive seen so many others leave or fall away and i just have a different goal and vision in my mind of how i want my life to be. i want to be married in the temple and be sealed with my family forever.

How I live my faith

In the church my "calling" is to organize wednesday or thursday night YSA (young single adult) classes. they teach about God and have a message that just helps you through the middle of the week. my co-chair and i buy treats that usually have to do with the weather or holiday coming up so for example around thanksgiving we bought a bunch of pumpkin pies.
