Hi I'm Susan

My name is Susan, I am a victim/survivor consultant. I am a full time student and live in the Pittsburgh area.

About Me

I am a full time student at Penn State studying Criminal justice and Ethics. I have six children and have been divorced for eight years.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints by choice. I was born into the church but was inactive for most of my life. I came back to church because I felt there was something missing in my life. Being a member of this church has brought a clarity and peace to my life I had not had before. I know that I am a daughter of a Supreme Father, even God. I am the sister of the Jehovah, my Lord and Savior. I am the mother of some of fathers most choice spirits. I know that I lived before I came to this earth, and I will live again. I know my Father and Savior know me by name, they know my heart, my wants and my desires. My father knows me so well that he custom designs trials for me to help me overcome weakness so that I can return to His presence. I know the atonement is real and is for each one of us. I know the Savior gave his life for me and for all. I know we have a living prophet who leads this church in our time. I love him and I sustain him. I know that the work in the temples is a sacred and important work that we all have a special part in. I love the scriptures and delight in their teachings. I know the scriptures are the word of God. I know that prayer is our way to share our joys, losses, sadness, happiness and all pain. When on our knees we can pour out our souls in gratitude for all that we have received while praying for those around us. I know that the Lord answers our prayers and blesses us with tender mercies every single day. I know that the Lord is always with me supporting me and guiding me. There is no greater plan then the plan of happiness. God knows us and loves each one of us individually. I know the atonement can heal ALL things. I know the JESUS IS THE CHRIST. I know that the only way is by way of the Savior. I say these things in my Saviors name, AMEN.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in many different ways. I volunteer in my community and serve in callings with my ward. Currently I serve leading music and singing in the choir.
