Hi I'm Mason

I am a Mormon which in proper terms means that i am proudly a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

About Me

I am going to tell you a little about myself, I hope you don't mind. I am Nineteen years old. I was born into a Mormon Family and a Tennis loving family. I'm not putting down other sports but i honestly believe it to be the most rounded of all Athletics; it takes strength, mind and Spirit. I was Tennis Captain my senior year and varsity the two years prior. I had the Honor of being the Senior Class President of my High School. Along with other achievements like receiving my Eagle Scout Award and being a H.O.B.Y World Youth Leadership Ambassador and various School clubs. I hope you don't believe that my life was handed to me on a silver platter. It most definitely wasn't. I won't go into detail, this isn't a pity party but no matter how difficult my life would become or how heavy the load felt upon my shoulders, I have found that the only way I could do all I have done is through Divine Intervention. My life would be in shambles if I did not have The Lord, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost to guide me through the dark. The World is a dark place at times and I know this Gospel is the Light that chases it away, If you are willing to find it and pray to know of its truth and know it is true you will never be in the dark again unless by your own free will. I pray you find the happiness that I have felt through this gospel. Sincerely, Mason

Why I am a Mormon

Being born into this church isn't an instant path to Faith and a complete and utter belief in its doctrine. When I was young I used to envy those who weren't of our church because they got to become converted and feel the spirit as something new and wonderful. Whereas I was born into it and it's all I knew. I mean if you ask a fish how he likes living in water he would reply "what's water?" I mean it's all he knew, in this scenario the fish can talk or use telepathy, you may choose. These were definitely the thoughts of a child though, for as a convert must become converted and acquainted with the Spirit and the Gospel so did I and so must everyone. This is done through reading the Scriptures, Praying and asking of its truth and waiting and listening for the answer to testify to your soul. This doesn't always come quickly, but by small things, great things are brought to pass. I have searched and prayed and prayed some more to know whether this church is true and I can testify that this church is true and the doctrine is the word of God this testimony may be small but it is the unbreakable foundation upon which I shall build. I pray that you will pray to know of the truth of this gospel for "If ye lack wisdom let him ask of God."

How I live my faith

I am currently called to teach the children of the church, specifically the nine year olds. I have found no greater joy then when I am serving my lord although they can become quite loud and crazy. When this happens I find I am doing my job best. I mean, I never got that excited about the Gospel until I was much older and to see them shooting out of their chairs with smiles on their little faces fighting the urge to yell out the answer to the question given to them. That is when I feel happiest, when I see not only kids but anyone want to learn and witness the subtle changes in their behavior and their lives for the better. This has definitly prepared me for my Mission And teaching the magnificent people of London, England. Where i have been called to serve as a Missionary.
