Hi I'm Abram

I'm an electrical engineer from Colorado. I develop software and build gadgets. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the oldest of four and when I started high school, I wasn't a very social person and spent too much time by myself because I didn't feel like I belonged. But thanks to some good friends I was able to open up and talk to people. Now I'm attending college studying for a degree in electrical engineering. A good portion of my free time is spent designing and building a variety of gadgets as well as programming websites and mobile apps.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and raised by faithful parents who fulfilled their callings to the best of their ability. So while I was young, it was hard not to believe in the church. But as I grew up and began to make more choices for myself, I realized I needed my own testimony. However, it wasn't through a simple reading of the Book of Mormon or a thoughtful prayer that I knew the truthfulness of the LDS church. I prayed many times and never quite got the answer I was looking for. Maybe it was my own stubbornness, or even just my doubting, but it wasn't enough for me. I was looking for a miracle, even though I knew I probably wouldn't get one. It was only when I started to view my experiences collectively and analyze what I did know that I began to truly believe the church was true. That is why I'm Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by pressing forward. When I am being challenged and tried is when I need my faith the most. It's what gives me the strength to pick myself up and keep going. So I read the Holy Bible and The Book of Mormon to build my knowledge and faith. I go to church and attend classes there to more fully understand the doctrine and to strengthen my testimony.
