Hi I'm Taylor Adams

I grew up in Seattle Washington, I am serving a mission in Mexico City. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Seattle Washington, at age 15 I moved to Palmyra New York with my family, then to American Fork Utah when I was 17. I am currently 20 and I have completed a year and a half of college at Utah State University and Utah Valley University. I'm currently serving a mission in the Mexico Mexico City West Mission. I love basketball, video games, and computers. I am going into computer science and love working on computers and coding. Before my mission I worked at Geek Squad and attended school.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I know the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints is the church of God here on the earth. I know that this is true because I have read, studied and prayed about the Book of Mormon and have received my own answer from God the it is his word. In relation to this personal revelation I have received I know that Joseph Smith saw what he said he saw, I know that he was called to be a prophet of God and that he was called to restore the true church of Jesus Christ. I know the Book of Mormon and the church which a spouses it to be true, with all my heart.

How I live my faith

Right now I live my faith as a full time missionary. Right now I have dedicated 2 years of my life to serving others and preaching the gospel in the area of Mexico City. My companion and I walk around the streets of Mexico talking with everyone, offering as much service as we can, and going to the homes of those who have desire to learn more about our faith.

Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

Taylor Adams
We believe that Baptism is the first ordinance of the gospel. As Jesus Christ teaches us in the Bible no clean thing can enter into the kingdom of God, and without a baptism as Christ taught us for the remission of our sins we cannot enter into the kingdom of God. This baptism is the first step to showing your faith in Jesus Christ and his restored church by entering into the covenant of baptism. This covenant is a promise between us and God, and in this promise we promise to take upon ourselves the name of Jesus Christ, to always remember him, and to keep his commandments. In return God has promised us that we can be forgiven of our sins, and gives us the right to the constant guide of the Holy Ghost. We invite everyone to show their faith in Christ and be baptized like he showed us, to receive a remission of their sins and to start the journey of a lifetime on the path to return and live with our Father in Heaven.
