Hi I'm Elias Dobieski

I'm from Whittier California. I love taking walks and visiting parks.

About Me

I am a young man, age 18, who is going on a mission for my church. Earlier this year I graduated High School and sang in the choir as well as participated in some plays. I enjoy reading and trying to learn new languages.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. The way I know it is true is because I read the Book of Mormon. When I read the Book of Mormon I feel Heavenly Father closer to me. When I read my Book of Mormon I find it easier to remember all the things I've been taught in church. And I feel filled with a light that I carry wherever I go. When this wears down, I read the Book of Mormon. Every day.

How I live my faith

I participated with the youth group for the past six years. We meet together to play basketball, organize campouts for our Boy Scout Troop, play games, occasionally take field trips, and have a good time. I enjoy getting to spend time with and see the people I see at church in the middle of the week. This and other social activities is part of the reason why Mormons know alot of other Mormons. Now that I have aged out of the youth group, I attend the adult class, which I will leave behind in California for my new mission home in South America.
