Hi I'm Daniel

I grew up in Oklahoma City. I like to sing, play the piano, and dance. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19. I graduated from high school in 2012. I am an Eagle Scout. I completed a year of studies at a private Baptist university from 2012-2013. I studied vocal music education. I had been working full-time since last June in order to raise money for my mission. I now have a call to the Democratic Republic of the Congo Kinshasa Mission. I reported February 19th to the Provo, Utah MTC. After I return from my mission, I plan to go back to school and continue studying vocal music education.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, but I didn't always have the testimony in this gospel that I have today. Heavenly Father blessed me with multiple struggles in order to test my faith in him, as well as great role models to design my life after. Through prayer, fasting, scripture study, gaining knowledge of gospel doctrine, and overcoming struggles, my testimony has flourished and has given me the strength I need in order to share the gospel with others. I want to spread the good news and love of the Lord to all people because I know how it can bless their lives because of how it has blessed mine.

How I live my faith

I attend church every week. I often participate in ordinances preformed on the Sabbath. I try to participate in weekly church activities whenever I am available. I typically am the hymn accompanist during various meetings on Sunday or during the week. I sing in the church choir and perform special numbers in church and at special activities when available.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

No. The church offers many services to those who aren't members. Many of these services are welfare oriented, but also include help with family history research. Show more Show less
