Hi I'm Devan Mitchell

I'm from Idaho. I'm a convert to the church at the age of 18. I'm a member of the Idaho National Guard. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

A little about me is I love sports. Track was the one I competed the best in. I grew up on a farm and learned how to work at a young age. Small town is the life style I love the most. The military is a big part of my life. Being able to serve is truly awesome. I've tried college but didn't really like it, so my future plans are farming and serving. I look forward to the day that I can be married and start my own family.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true Church upon the earth today. It contains the full restored Gospel. I grew up in the Assembly of God Church before my family and I left due to leadership problems. We then went to the Bible Church but they were always telling me that I was lost because of Doctrine differences. My parents moved to Alaska and I stayed in Idaho to finish my schooling. That's when my Mormon friends invited me to Church. Soon I was meeting the missionaries and few months later I was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church. My parents don't support me in being a member or serving this mission. I know that I was put on this earth to help my family to come to the Gospel. I look forward to the day when I can raise my own family in the Church and guide them down the correct paths. Steadfast in Christ!!!!!!!

How I live my faith

In the Church, I've done a lot of missionary work. I loved to tell my friends of the church. At Basic training, I was a group missionary. I now serve a full time mission in Alabama. I know that Heavenly Father loves me and will always help me when in need. So its my calling to do the same to my fellow man.
