Hi I'm Sione

I grew up in Salt Lake City Utah. I'm Tongan. And I'm a Mormon. I love it. I live.

About Me

I am about to serve a mission in the Hamilton New Zealand Mission. I love to play piano and uke, I love to sing and dance. Being with my family is where I can find happiness and comfort. I played football all my life. I am very active and love to try new sports and food. Italian is my weakness. I was an S.B.O in school and learned a lot about being a leader. I am full Tongan, and I'm proud of it.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon because I find joy and comfort to what I believe in. I am not better than anyone else in this world, but my faith in Jesus Christ has taught me that I can love everyone. This gospel is so amazing in many ways. The power you feel when you're hurt or lonely or sad, the comfort it brings when a loved one dies, the happiness it brings to you and your family. I wouldn't give it up for anything in this world, and I will die believing in it. I know that this church is true, without a doubt in my mind. Joseph Smith was a prophet of God who restored it back to this Earth. Jesus Christ died on that cross so that our sufferings and pain could be lifted, that we can repent and strive to live a better life. This gospel is everything to me. My faith will never dwindle, never cease, because neither will God and his blessings. Only through faith in Jesus Christ, repenting, being baptized, receiving the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end, can we live with our Heavenly Father. I testify of this, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

I show my faith and dedication by doing home teaching with my dad. We go and visit 3 families and share a little message with them. After we ask them if there's anything we can do to help. We always offer our love to them and comfort. Once you teach them, they become like your family. Our messages may be small, but sometimes it can have a huge impact on their lives.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

A family is a way that God shows his love. It is central to Gods plan. Families give us strength, comfort, happiness, and love. Our families can be sealed for all time and eternity, even after death. Show more Show less
