Hi I'm Sarah

I am genuine and compassionate. I love to read, write and sing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah. I am passionate about reading and writing. I have loved to sing since I was a little girl. I am taking a break from college to go on a mission in Boston, Massachusetts. I am so grateful for this opportunity and cannot wait to share the gospel! When I get back I will continue to major in English and work towards my goal to become a high school English teacher/author. I also hope to go on a humanitarian trip as well as studying abroad in Europe.

Why I am a Mormon

Everybody should know right now that I was born into this religion. My parents are Mormon and their parents are Mormon and so it goes down the line. I come from a long line of Mormons. However, if anybody thinks I am a Mormon simply because my parents are Mormon and it was something I was born into they are sadly mistaken. I am a Mormon because I found out for myself the truthfulness of this gospel. As a young child, yes, it makes sense that I was Mormon because of my upbringing, but the only reason I am still a Mormon today is because I have found, through God, the truth. I have a strong testimony that this church is true and that the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ has been brought forth. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that he truly saw God the Father, and His Son, Jesus Christ. I fully believe everything the Book of Mormon teaches. Being a part of this Church gives me peace and the purest feeling of happiness. I never feel lost or afraid when I am following all of the teachings of Jesus Christ. I believe and agree with the teachings of this Church. I am a Mormon because I know with surety of its truth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through big and little things. I live my faith through being accepting of others, sharing my smile, and waving at someone crossing my path. I live my faith by being my best self, participating in service activities. I live my faith by being an example and sharing the gospel with others. Most importantly, I live my faith by striving to be Christ-like and developing Christ-like attributes.
