Hi I'm Califf

I'm from Georgia, I'm on my mission in Mesa, Arizona, and I love the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've grown up most of my life in Georgia, going through school and attending church. Membership there is not as big as it is in other parts of the country, so growing up I was one of the very few. Both of my parents and my mothers parents are converts, so I am the very first missionary of my entire family, what an honor! I am loving my mission so far and I am beyond blessed to know all of the people that I have met so far.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this church and gospel have increased my happiness more than anything that I have ever experienced before! I've been a member of this church my whole life, so living it and seeing the examples of what can happen when you follow Christs example, is incredible. I have received many blessing in my life from following the example the church has put forth for all of its members, and I will continue to do what I can to live a worthy life and strive to understand what it really means to be a son of God. So far in my life, I have seen that a lot of people that don't have hope, or believe that faith can't help them. But I can promise, that as we learn about Christ and his teachings, these simple yet incredible things will build us up, to the individuals and family's that God knows we can become.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by not only reading the scriptures and praying, but by trusting in God and knowing that he is there for me every step of the way. "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven" -(Ecclesiastes 3:1). Every Sunday I'm at church, enjoying the lessons and being in the company of the members. As I look at my life and how the gospel of this church has not only blessed me, but my family as well, trying to be an example of Christ is hard at times. We're all human, so as long as we're trying our best to be an example to those around us and know that The Lord is on our side, we will be blessed.
