Hi I'm Chelsie

I have 8 siblings, I play piano and sing, I'm a quarter Norwegian and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I play piano and sing, I love choir, and I went to Brigham Young University-Idaho for a few semesters. I was born and raised in Oregon, I'm 22 years old and I'm #7 of 9 kids. I suffer from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and depression. My favorite color is yellow and I love sunflowers. I hope to go on a mission soon and if I could visit anywhere in the world, it would be Norway.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a Mormon and while I've seen others leave and I understand their reasons why, I'm terrified of the thought of leaving this church. That might sound naive or weak to some people but I don't see it that way. I think those of us who have had thoughts of leaving the church but have stuck through it and given our faith another chance are strong and it shows how much we trust our God. I am so glad that I never gave up on my Heavenly Father. I've felt His love and guidance more deeply and have seen it manifested so much more in my life than I would've otherwise. A lot of people say I can't imagine where I would be without the Gospel and maybe that's true in some ways for me but I do know that I would be miserable and lost without it. I love Jesus Christ and my Heavenly Father and I know they love each of us and know us personally. I have seen and felt that this is true many times in my life.

How I live my faith

I read my scriptures, pray, go to church every Sunday and institute every Thursday. I'm a ward missionary and I go out to teach with the sister missionaries occasionally.
