Hi I'm Charli

I'm a college student working as a Phlebotomist and Lab Assistant, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student majoring in Microbiology. I also work at a clinic as a Lab Assistant/Lab Coordinator. I love to read, and I enjoy writing when inspiration strikes. I love being outside, and my favorite place in the world is under the tree in my parents front yard. I have a strong belief in gaining an education, though I admit I am not a fan of school. One day I hope to have a family of my own, but until then, I'm working toward a career which I love. I also hope to travel all over the world, which I plan to do after saving up the money.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have had a taste of what my life would be without the gospel, and I don't like it. The church keeps me free of addiction and helps me feel like an important member of society. I never feel lonely because I know my Heavenly Father is always with me. No matter what sins I commit, no matter how often I fall, he is always there to pick me back up. I am a Mormon, because in my darkest hour, His gospel made it possible for me to come back to the light.

How I live my faith

Because I am a college student, I attend a single adult ward. As such, my role in the church changes each semester. I have worked as a meeting pianist, a compassionate service committee member, and a group leader. I love doing service for others. I've made quilts, picture books, baby beanies, and puppets for children. I have also cleaned house for widows/widowers, including weeding their yard. I live my faith by being available to help when I am called upon.
