Hi I'm Alyssa

I grew up in the Philippines. I was born of goodly parents. I'm a Latter-Day Saint.

About Me

I like to watch good TV shows/movies. I like to read good books. I like to study. I like to bike and enjoy nature. I enjoy traveling to different places and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am very grateful to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and for having the Gospel in my life. These things have been wonderful blessings to me - they have helped me get through the challenges I face and have helped me develop a better perspective about our life here on earth. I know that we have a Father in Heaven, who lives and who is mindful of us. He loves us so much that is why He sent His Only Begotten Son to be the Savior of the world. I know that Jesus Christ lives. He Atoned for our sins. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is God’s true and living church here on earth. I know that the truthfulness of the Gospel was restored for this last dispensation through Prophet Joseph Smith. I know that we have a living prophet in the person of Pres. Thomas S. Monson. I am grateful for our church leaders who serve as instruments in receiving counsels from the Lord. I know that the scriptures are the word of God. I know that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Christ. Together with the Bible, it proclaims to all the world that Jesus is the Christ - He is our Savior. I am very grateful for having the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our family. The Gospel and the Atonement of Christ has blessed me personally and has blessed our family as a whole. The gospel has strengthened our relationship as a family and has helped center our lives in Christ, which helps us prioritize things which really matter most in this life.

How I live my faith

I participate in Community service projects like tree planting, donating useful books and having a clean up drive. I also see to it that I can help others through my little ways daily.
