Hi I'm Frank

I'm a Mormon convert, married with five children and three grandchildren, a salesman by trade, with a love to learn.

About Me

I grew up on welfare, in an unhealthy spiritual environment, which in time became a great blessing once I was taught the plan of Salvation and how to live it. Motivated to improve my circumstances, at age 20 I began to read upon every subject I could think of. After reading the Bible and gaining a witness and testimony of Jesus Christ I, I visited the many different churches and after 3 plus years of searching, I knelt in pray pleading with the Lord in tears to lead me to his people. Three days latter I was given a Book of Mormon by a coworker and shortly thereafter introduced to the missionaries. Within a month I joined "The Church of Jesus Christ of LDS" , I have been called to numerous positions in the church and with each I felt the least qualified to hold the position, but did my best and over time learned that the Lord blesses those who give their best even though they might not have a clue as to what they are doing. I am forever grateful for the many leaders and teachers along the way who with love and patience gave me the time and opportunities I needed to grow spiritually into a man with sound judgement and a tender heart towards others. It has been my experience through trial and error, that I am happiest when I put my faith and trust in the Savior's promises, because He has never failed me and He has never abandoned me. Because of this faith I get to live with the feelings of confidence and hope that my future is going to be even brighter than my past.

Why I am a Mormon

The reason I chose the join the church and have remained active through the years is quite simple. I prayerfully read the Book of Mormon and received a witness from the Holy Spirit that it is true. I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the Lord Kingdom on earth in my day. I know that there is a God in Heaven and that he sent His only begotten son, Jesus Christ, to be my redeemer and Savior. I feel I have associated myself with the greatest cause and organization in the world and that it gives my life both purpose and meaning.

How I live my faith

I have learned to live by simple rules such as pray and read the scriptures daily, always attend my meetings no matter how I feel and always do my best. I've committed myself to love the families I've been called to serve as a home teacher. I've held many callings throughout the years, to name a few, scout master nursery worker, Sunday school teacher, Elders Quorum President, High Priest Group leader, Prison ministry coordinator and am currently serving as a counselor in the Bishopric. I strive to be good example to my neighbors by keeping my yard neat and presentable, treat them with respect and often loan them my tools to engender a spirit of community. At work I try each day to do my best and be profitable to my employers. I've chosen to live modestly, but comfortably and am looking forward to retirement in a few years.
