Hi I'm Pam

I grew up here in southern California. I am a Early Childhood Special education teacher and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of five wonderful children who are all grown now. I have many hobbies but the ones I love the most are fishing, birding and photography. I am a grandmother of one grandchild so far. I love that title (Grammy). I have a dream job. I am a Early Childhood Special Education teacher in which I get to work with children from the ages of birth to three.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon, well I join the church when I was in the fifth grade. My close friend in elementary school and neighbor who lived across the street from me ask me to go to church with her and her family. I went several times with them and then she ask me if I would like to join the church. I wasn't truly converted until high school. I completed reading the Book of Mormon and took Moroni's challenge ( Moroni 10: 3-5) that states: Behold, I would exhort you that when ye shall read these things, if it be wisdom in God that ye should read them, that ye would remember how merciful the Lord hath been unto the children of men, from the creation of Adam even down until the time that ye shall receive these things, and ponder it in your hearts. And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would aask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things. I knelt in prayer and received a confirmation from the Holy Ghost that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I have been an active member since then. The church gives me a purpose in life and I enjoy being in the service of my Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I am currently the president of our women's organization in our home ward within the church. Out of all the callings, which I have held so far, this is by far the best spiritual calling I have ever had. The best part of my job, is working with the people.
