Hi I'm Kevin

I am a Biology student at BYU in Provo, Utah. I am from Katy, Texas. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the outdoors, camping and rock climbing. Rock climbing I find especially enjoyable because it allows me to let go of stresses and focus on something else for a while. Music and TV work to do same and I love a good movie. I'm currently studying biology in college and enjoy learning and growing up and all the new responsibilities. I find any new experience worthwhile and enjoyable like playing in the snow, dancing, reading, and drawing. I have a pet turtle that enjoys swimming around and a few fish that live with him. I love being with friends and family and learning about others.

Why I am a Mormon

I had a pretty dark time in my life filled with confusion and searching. Searching for something that wasn't fleeting or temporary. I decided to try and live the faith of my family. I started to read the scriptures with the intent of finding an answer. I prayed to a Heavenly Father I no longer was sure I believed in. He brought peace to my soul and I received my answer. I learned that living as a Latter-day Saint brings real lasting happiness

How I live my faith

I try to help my ward by planning activities to include everyone, not just members but people from the community. I love doing service for others and the love I feel afterwards. I love visiting others in my ward and hearing about the awesome things they are doing in their lives. I am working to serve a full time mission for the Church.
