Hi I'm RJ

I'm an accountant. I love baseball. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been married to a wonderful woman for just over four years. We have two energetic little boys. The most joy I experience in life is directly related to them and the time we spend together. My favorite thing to do with them is travel to see new places, even though their ages keep the travel distance short. I have a Master's degree in accounting and work as an accountant for a construction company. I've always loved the sport of baseball since I was a kid. I love following and playing baseball. And I still collect baseball cards like I did as a kid.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know God restored the gospel of Jesus Christ to the Earth through a prophet named Joseph Smith. I know that this is the same gospel that Jesus Christ taught during His mortal life. Living the teachings of Jesus Christ makes me happy. And I know it's the only way for me to be happy. I'm thankful and humbled when I think that Christ died for me. Because of Him, the mistakes I make can be made right. Because of Him, my successes and joys in life can last beyond death. I love showing my gratitude for Christ by sharing His love with others. I love to help others find peace and happiness through Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because God's Spirit has told me that this is what God wants me to be.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith in everything I do. I try to treat others as Christ does regardless of the environment I'm in. At work I try my best to give honest, hard work each day. I try to respect others' deadlines, responsibilities, and needs when I ask for favors. I try to live in a way that others will know I honor Jesus Christ. When I'm out and about, I live my faith by giving the benefit of the doubt to the driver who cut me off in traffic. I look for opportunities to smile at people around me. In my congregation at Church, I work with leaders of youth to help them choose to follow Jesus Christ for themselves. I also work with leaders of Sunday School to give religious instruction to adults.
