Hi I'm Eden

I'm kind and funny. I love to read, write, sing, and run track. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second youngest of six children. I grew up in humid, hot Texas. I'm a Mormon. I enjoy running, music, singing, reading, writing, drawing, photography, and making people smile. I have two golden retrievers and two cats.

Why I am a Mormon

There is nothing that makes me happier than being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The commandments keep me safe and help me become a better person. Because of the gospel principles and knowledge that I am taught, I further understand my purpose here on Earth, and who I really am. I love knowing that God loves me, and that he loves each and every one of us. I have read the Book of Mormon daily and have felt the blessings and comfort that come from reading it daily. I know that my Heavenly Father is there for me always. I know that Jesus Christ, our brother, died for us so that we may return with our Heavenly Father again one day, and I think that that in itself is a perfect example of selfless love. I know that Jesus Christ, our Savior, is the Son of Almighty God, and that Mary is His mortal mother, and I know this church is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to live like how the Savior lived. I show my love for others by smiling or waving at people in the hallways, texting people out of the blue to show them I care, showing my appreciation to others, etc. Service is also a huge part! I participate in a lot of service projects with my ward and the youth of the stake. I am also a Youth Family History Consultant for my ward. This means I devote my time to helping others do family history, and I try to help them find ancestors and further expand their family tree. I help the patrons understand the technology and how to use the updated programs. I also sometimes take turns teaching in the Sunday School class I am in filled with young women around my age. I strive to follow the guidelines in the For Strength of Youth pamphlet, also.
