Hi I'm mallory

I'm a Mormon. I was born in Provo Utah and I grew up in Redding, California. My family means the world to me.

About Me

My name is Mallory. I attend a high school in TN. I really love writing and reading. I enjoy spending time with my friends and my family. I have three brothers, Two half brothers, and no sisters. I am really shy around people I don't know, but I can be crazy around my close friends and my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I know for a fact that this church is the true church for me. The book of Mormon is uplifting and inspiring and somehow I just know that this church is true. Over the summer of 2013 I began to doubt. I grew up in the church and had never questioned myself if I believed or not, I had just followed in my parents beliefs. I wanted to be sure so I started to pray about it. I prayed so hard, but I wasn't getting an answer. One night I was lying in bed after saying my prayer and I had a sudden urge to sing a children's song called A Child's Prayer. I wasn't paying any attention to the words as I sang until I got to the part where the lyrics are, "pray, he is there, speak, he is listening. You are his child, his love now surrounds you. He hears your prayers, he loves the children of such is the kingdom, the kingdom of heaven." You know how when something like this happens and you never know if God is telling you something or if its just a coincidence? Well, this time I just knew, I cant explain it any other way, I just knew that my Heavenly Father was there listening to my prayers and trying to comfort me and tell me that he is always there. And from then on there was not a single doubt in my mind that this was the true church. This is the true church and I am home.

How I live my faith

I am an active young women in the LDS church. I come to sacrament meeting and Sunday school with my family on Sundays and I come to young women's activities on Wednesday, where we do activities such as games or making jewelry, or sometimes service projects like delivering homemade goodies to people's houses. I attend seminary class every morning before school and enjoy studying the scriptures there.
