Hi I'm Chuck Simpson

I am happiest when I'm with my family - at home or on the go. I like to keep things simple & I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My parents became converts as newly weds. I am the oldest son of 12 children. I grew up in small rural community where only my sister and I were the only members in my high school. I became an Eagle Scout, served a mission and had the opportunity for higher education. I am happily married and now have three children. I practice dentistry and own my practice.

Why I am a Mormon

Having parents who were converts and having grown up in an area with very few members of the church has always given me an opportunity to see and feel the influence of God in my life. I really enjoy the simple truths that are found in the church. When I focus on the basics and prioritize my life in serving God through others I find that my life is less stressful, happier and more peaceful. I am grateful that I have been introduced to the gospel. I have been blessed in living the principles taught within. I want others to enjoy what I have felt and experienced.

How I live my faith

Living my faith permeates every aspect of my life: 1) My circle of influence is most strongly evident in my home. I enjoy spending time with my family -- teaching & guiding in the mastery of practical life skills, educating spiritual & secular knowledge, exercising, working beside them and enjoying leisure time together. 2) My work as a dentist allows me to have 1 on 1 experiences that build strong relationships with people. Though most people do not enjoy the visiting the dentist, I enjoy helping people have pleasant experiences and overcoming fears and anxiety. I have opportunities to help the less fortunate to smile and get out of pain. As I own my practice, I also get the chance to share copies of the Book of Mormon in the work setting and even some have become members. This is an awesome experience. 3) I have had the opportunity to serve the young men in many capacities, both in church and scouting. It is edifying to guide the youth and learn so much in return.
