Hi I'm Savannah

I love the mountains and reading. I like to plan things. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have nine siblings: three sisters and six brothers. I am the second child in my family. The first was a son. I like to knit, sew, crochet, cook, read, bike, walk, run, skip, ice skate, hike, and climb. Mountains have always defined my horizon. Trees and space are important to me. I recently started attending a local college. I am enjoying it very much. I have always liked to learn, so I enjoy school. I can frequently be found in a library. I am a bit old fashioned. I adore the wearing of skirts. I play a bit of piano and flute. I love to sing.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in this chuch, but that is not why I am still active in it. I am a Mormon because I believe that this is the only church on the Earth that contains all of the truths. I belive that Joseph Smith was a prophet who recieved revelation from God. I believe that this church is still led by a prophet who recieves revelation from God. I believe that this church is led by revelation in all levels of its orginization. I believe that the leaders in this church hold the priesthood or the power and authority of God. I believe that Jesus Christ atoned for all of our sins and died that we might live again. I know that because of this we can change and repent. I believe The Bible (as much of it is translated correctly) and The Book of Mormon to be recordings of the word of God to men. I have felt these truths in my life and know them to be the truth. They guide the patterns of my life. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I read my scriptures and pray every day. I try to be kind to and think of others. I am working on smiling more. I attend church every Sunday and any other meetings that come up. I conduct the congregational singing at church on Sundays. I am not very good at it, but the practice helps.
