Hi I'm Michel

I was born in France, grew up in NY. I am proud to be a U.S.citizen, and to fight for our Constitution. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a convert, I'm a Dad, I've worked as a plumber an electrician a manager of a medical practice a general contractor, a machinist a scientific associate in physics, an alarm installer a copier repairman and then some...but mostly... I am a humble servant of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

Why I am a Mormon

During High school and prior I started to question many things as I looked at the world around me and wondered is there any morality left in this world are there any more ethics or honesty among kids my age. That is when I met my first Mormon. She was a Senior and we started dating and over the course of the next few months she was always talking about church and the Gospel and how she needed to improve in this area or that. She also convinced me that it was a good thing for me to do as well which to me just seemed pretty logical anyway. So i did. During this time i was also introduced to many of her friends from church. Here right before me stood the answer to my questions. I had found a group of kids my age that, while they were not perfect (not that they claimed to be) did have an incredible sense of right and wrong, of morality of good character of integrity and worked hard at bettering themselves. I had found a group of true friends. Now I had had many friends before but these guys I could count on. If they said they were there for you they were. If I needed something they would be there. If they said they would help me with something they would and if they could not they would make the effort to find someone who could. This truly impressed me. I wanted to learn more about the church and was told that there were missionaries who's sole job it was to do that. My first lesson I felt the spirit so strongly I will never forget it and I knew without a doubt that it was true. Never in all my life had I been as sure of anything as this. Finally I had found a church that had the right answers and more importantly that made sense. All that having been said my true conversion didn't happen till later. I gained a testimony that day thirty years ago and have always had that but my conversion happened when I truly started applying the principles I had learned and Promised my Savior that I would do what he asked of me.

How I live my faith

I strive to be an asset to all those who I come in contact with both temporally and spiritually. I have been blessed with many talents and much knowledge and I strive to gain more and I am grateful for this as it provides me with countless ways to make a living but my true joy is to be able to use these talents in the service of others. Happiness may come from what we are able to acquire but true Joy comes from what we are willing to give. I try to give every day of my time, my talents, my testimony, my ear, my knowledge, my service or whatever may be required
