Hi I'm Amy

I'm Scottish. I'm a mum. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to my best friend and we have three adopted children. Most of my time is spent being a mum but I juggle that with part time work. I love music and being creative. I love to take care of myself and keep fit.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a Mormon and like most young people I questioned my faith in my own time. I came to realise that living the gospel gave me a peace and happiness that I could find nowhere else. I know that Jesus Christ is my personal Saviour because I've felt the power of His sacrifice in my life as the burden of my sins has been taken away. This experience is as real to me as my family. I hope that everything I do centers around Christ - my ultimate goal in life is to become like Him.

How I live my faith

For me my faith is more than going to church. It's a way of life. I pray and read scriptures every day, and this gives me strength greater than my own. My faith helps me get through the twists and turns of life, because I know I can turn to God when things are hard. One of our biggest challenges has been not being able to have children. Through prayer and fasting we have felt real growth as a result of that and best of all, we have been able to adopt three beautiful children.
