Hi I'm Ryan

I play soccer, I like marketing, and I love to Wakeboard. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy music, being outside, and athletics. I recently received my degree in Recreation Management. I worked to put on the Red Bull Wake Open Championships in Tampa Bay, Florida. I competed in the National Points Chase Wakeboarding Tournament. I grew up mowing lawns and pulling weeds.

Why I am a Mormon

I am mormon because I have asked God if the Book of Mormon is true. I spent the time studying it out, reading it, and asking questions about it. I know I received an answer from God. I asked if John, Peter, and other prophets were true prophets from the Bible and received the same overwhelming feeling that YES...yes they were. In this manner, I have tried to ask about everything I could possibly have questions about. I also know that there are prophets back on the earth today and they are found in the Mormon church. I know this to be true because I have asked God.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading and studying the holy scriptures. I pray every day and night. I try to serve others as much as I can. I enjoy making people's days better and hope that I can be a positive affect on others. I love to sing the hymns and feel close to God when I am outside in nature. I feel great when I think about everything I am grateful for.

What is faith?

Faith is to hope for things which are not seen, which are true. I have faith that the sun will rise. I've felt its warmth and I know its true. Even though I cannot see the sun when I am inside, I know its there. To have faith is to “hope for things which are not seen, which are true” (see Book of Mormon, Alma 32:21 and Hebrews 11:1). Each day you act upon things you hope for, even before you see the end result. This is similar to faith. Show more Show less
