Hi I'm Samantha

Currently serving in The Great California Long Beach Mission ! Oh and I...am a Mormon !

About Me

I have been called to serve a full-time mission in The Great California Long Beach Mission! I am currently serving as a devoted servant of the Lord Jesus Christ and I love it! I hope to become a worthy instrument in the Lord's work, and bring about happiness and purpose to those who may not know where to find it :) I am an only child, however, I didn't grow up alone. I was raised in New Zealand (and yes I do have an accent) before moving to the United States of America. I love playing all kinds of sporting activities, but what I love most is hanging out with family and friends, along with meeting new people! I would consider myself shy, but everyone else disagrees; either way I love making new friends :) I've been a member of the church ever since I was young and I consider myself truly blessed! I can honestly say that without the gospel in my life, I would not be the person I am today. I have learnt so much over the years and I hope to continue learning more about this great gospel for my eternal benefit (D&C 130:18-19)! The church is definitely true because I have received witnessed through sincere prayer in asking our Heavenly Father. As a result, I have found, for myself, that this is the true church of the Lord Jesus Christ. I can promise that those who sincerely pray to God and ask Him if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true, He will make the truth known unto them as they have the real desire and intent on acting upon His answer (Moroni 10:3-5).

Why I am a Mormon

Well I grew up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since I was 9years old, however, on top of that fact, I am Mormon because I am grateful for everything that I've learnt along the way.

How I live my faith

Besides the fact that I'm currently serving as a missionary, the way I live my faith varies in different types of ways. Previous to this awesome calling, I was called as a Relief Society Secretary in my ward. I loved working for and with the leadership of my ward in helping others draw closer to our loving Heavenly Father. I'm also not afraid to make it known that I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Why is it important for us to take care of our bodies? Why are our bodies called temples of God in the Bible?

Cleanliness is next to Godliness and no unclean thing can dwell in the presence of The Lord and our Heavenly Father. We must only partake of things that keep our bodies clean and pure as possible. Keeping the Word of Wisdom, and repenting of our sins are some ways we can keep clean, as well as becoming worthy in order to endure to the end, in hopes that we've done all that is required of us to return back to Him.
