Hi I'm Megan Darling

I'm a dancer and a total geek. I love to play board games and I love being active. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in Utah my whole life and am very excited to serve a mission in California. I absolutely LOVE to dance! I also love playing board games and I'm a huge geek about it. I'm super talkative and outgoing. After my mission I plan on going to UVU. I'm not positive what I'll be studying but I'd love to go into business and dance and open my own dance studio. I've never been out of the country and so I'm dying to travel and see other parts of the world. I have a very large family that's kind of complicated to explain. My family members are my best friends and I love them SO much. That's basically me in a nutshell. :)

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church by a pretty normal family. During my young teenage years my family fell apart and fell away from the church. I, as well, became inactive and didn't really care about anything taught in church. When I started high school I moved in with some very close family friends who took me in as their own. I started going back to church and that's where I really found my own testimony of the Gospel. I started living the Gospel and it made me happy. I had many experiences in which I truly felt the spirit and knew that the church was true and it's teachings would bring me happiness. I am a Mormon because this is Christ's church on the earth today and I know I can be truly happy through Him and His Atonement. I love living the Gospel and it gives me a sense of self worth. Being a Mormon is just me. I love it and I know I am blessed when I follow my Savior. I want to be like Him. I love my Heavenly Father and because He gives me SO much, I want to do all I can to make Him happy and be worthy to return to Him. The Gospel gives me the strength I need that nothing else can. I don't know where I'd be without it.

How I live my faith

I taught a 9 and 10-year old class in primary. Definitely a crazy class but I learned quite a bit. Definitely a lot of patience. Now I am helping out in the primary wherever they need me til I leave on my mission. Other than that I am just preparing to serve a full-time mission and doing all the things that come with that.
