Hi I'm Josh

I'm a ski instructor for people with disabilities. I love riding motocross and i'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently studying accounting at the university. I want to be an entrepreneur! My favorite hobbies are riding my dirt bike and skiing. I also love playing hockey, wakeboarding, and off roading in my Jeep. I'm not afraid to try new things and love to travel. I recently lived in Australia for 4 months. I moved there to work and surf, unfortunately before I left to Australia I broke my wrist. That made it difficult to find work but I was able to find a job in a college teaching English to Japanese and Korean students. It was a lot of fun! I work as a ski instructor for people with disabilities and I really, really love my job! Skiing by itself is a lot of fun.... but when you take someone who has maybe never even been in the mountains skiing its a humbling and awesome experience. You really grow to appreciate all that you have! I love these people because they are able to enjoy even the smallest of things and are very fun to work with.

Why I am a Mormon

I have done a lot of things in my life including: sky diving, bull riding, waterfall jumping, motocross racing, ski competition, hockey championships, and a variety of other extreme sports. But, I've never found a sincere lasting adrenaline rush or joy in any of these things like I find when I come closer to God and Jesus Christ. When I feel the Holy Ghost or Spirit I feel a deep lasting Joy. Don't get me wrong I still absolutely love extreme sports- but the feelings of adrenaline and praise are short. I've come to know for myself that God loves us a lot and sincerely wants us to succeed in this life so that we can return to live with Him. The opportunity He gives us to return and live with Him in peace and happiness forever motivates me to live my life in a way so that I can! I'm motivated to do whatever He asks because I know that it will all be worth it.

How I live my faith

Whether it be reading my scriptures or listening to them in the car. The words of Christ give my life substance. They teach me what I must do to become more like Him. As I do my best to apply these teachings and do them in my life, I'm happy.
